The sound is one of the forms of energy that we can handle consciously and with some general ease by most people, from the use of the voice or make sounds with different parts of the body.
Sound has the peculiarity that it does not understand barriers, blockages or (mental) limits.
Through the use of instruments and voice it is possible to reach places in our mind and body where our consciousness cannot reach, precisely because of those blockages and limits. The sound crosses without asking or asking permission, it arrives and touches us in the right place and at the right time when we are really prepared for it, in a subtle and light way, without stridency or violence helping the process of healing and growth in an almost magical way.
